Why do so many white Evangelical Christians struggle to respond correctly to racial injustice?
While I can’t speak for all of them, I believe that I can speak for some of them.
I have spent my entire life in the white, American Evangelical church. And most of that time was spent in a church setting where it was common to say, “We’re not racist, BUT…”
…and then they would say or do something racist.

The following is my personal thought process about dealing with social media and sources during this troubled time:
“Our fight is not with people. It is against the leaders and the powers and the spirits of darkness in this world. It is against the demon world that works in the heavens” (Ephesians 6:12).
“The dragon was thrown down to earth from heaven. This animal is the old snake. He is also called the Devil or Satan. He is the one who has fooled the whole world. He was thrown down to earth and his angels were thrown down with him” (Revelation 12:9).
On the testimony of Scripture, let us never see other image-bearers as the enemy; but rather as captives of the deception of the enemy.
