Are You an American “Settler?”

A few years ago, DirecTV released a series of commercials playing on the word, “Settlers.” The commercials starred a family who dressed like “settlers” of the American west. The word-play was that they still lived like the “settlers” of the American west and still used antiquated technology. Thus, they “settled” for cable instead of DirecTV.
 
I would argue that many in American churches have decided to be “Settlers.”
